Dreams in the blue

I am on a ship, at the center of the sea
All I see is water, it’s all around me

The ocean is so big, and I’m so small.
There’s no one to be found when I look around
Just a million stars shining on the ground.

I’ll never know just how far’s too far.
Maybe it’s time I turn around.
But I wanna go as far as I can.

If I reach the shore,
I’ll paint my own world, one with you in it.
I know the waves will wash it down
But my dreams will live in the blue,
Even if I am in the ground.
